Graduate of 2009 now employed by the Athlone Town Centre as a Digital Marketing Coordinator
I’m so proud that my younger sister is following in my footsteps by choosing to study at AIT next year.
I recently revisited the campus for a work meeting and I was amazed at how much it has grown and developed since I was a student there.
I spent four great years completing a business degree in AIT, one thing that always stands out for me about my time there is the support I received from my lecturers. Even today, 7 years after graduating, they still remember me by name when I meet them, and the people I went through those 4 years with, they are still my best friends today. #GreatMemories #Classof2009
Graduate of 2012 now employed by State Street Global Advisors as a European New Business Co-Ordinator
I spent 5 great years at AIT. Starting off in a Higher Certificate in Sport and Recreation and progressing through to a Master in Business and entrepreneurship. Lecturers were very supportive throughout my study and even after 3 years of graduating the support and encouragement is amazing. It is a college that has expanded significantly and developed a unique community atmosphere. There is ample and very affordable accommodation within walking distance from the college. I’m proud to call myself an AIT graduate.
Graduate of 2013 now employed by Deloitte Ireland as a Risk and Internal Audit Consultant
I graduated from AIT in 2014 with MA in Accounting. I feel that the 5 years I spent in college prepared me well for my current role i.e. Risk Advisory Consultant in Deloitte. While studying at AIT I loved the atmosphere of encouragement and support from lecturers. They made me feel important and cared about my future. I was not just a number to them. I met some great people and enjoyed everyday there. Athlone is a beautiful town with a bustling nightlife. I am more than happy that I chose AIT as my 3rd level education institute and would recommend it to anyone wishing to excel their future.
Former Professional Soccer player with Middlesbrough FC. Graduate of 2011 now employed by Kinetica Sports as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator
I studied Business in AIT from 2008-2011 after retiring from football. I had not been in the education system for eleven years prior to going to AIT so it was a daunting prospect to go back to that environment.
The help & advice I got from staff in the college was fantastic. AIT gave me a new lease of life after football and I am always grateful to them for that.
The sports facilities are A1, so if playing sports or general fitness is your thing then AIT can help take you to the next level.

I studied a Masters in Accounting in AIT, I really enjoyed my time there. I found the staff and lecturers extremely helpful, approachable and obliging. There is a really nice atmosphere around the campus and plenty of sports and social clubs to get involved in. I would highly recommend AIT.
